I've learned my lesson so I'm watching "Spartacus" live, as it were, so I
won't be writing to Time Warner about the continuing Starz On Demand
problem. But for any of you Time Warner customers who want to watch this
violent-as-300/sexy as Showtime series look at ancient Rome (I hadn't
thought of slaves as fluffers before), don't wait to see it On Demand. 3
weeks in and already Time Warner has dropped the 2nd episode from the on
Demand menu. Starz was repeating the earlier episodes during the week so
catch them then, or you'll have to wait for the DVD. Or you can write Time
Warner and complain.
At the way other extreme of TV watching, ABC Family this week is dropping
its midnight repeats of original series (which is when I DVRd them) of
"Secret Life", "Make It" and "Greek", so you have to DVR them while you
watch "24" and "House" etc. (OK, so I'll watch the PIX teen shows on
another TV while all those are being DVRd. And then "Heroes" and "Chuck" on
the On Demand Channel on Time Warner, which so far seems not to miss
episodes like the premium and BBC A On Demand channels do.)
While you folks were watching the Super Bowl, I was catching up on my DVR
and On Demand shows.
